Last Day on Earth: Survival
Season 12. Genesis, deliveries, Halloween
Season 12 will bring in a lot of secrets and mysteries along with new adventures and characters. The new mechanics and characters that are to stay in the game and the season’s logical introduction to a permanent update – these are what makes this season so special. But that’s a bit later, first, let’s wind back a little and see what’s new in the update.
We’re gonna start with a pleasant surprise – the old system of immediate healing of the character with food is back. This way, we want to support our players during these difficult times and let them know that we hear them. Watch your health and have fun!
The other news is new people in the area! The job they do used to be not the most prestigious, but in the time of zombie apocalypse, it’s gone up to survivors’ estimation. We’re talking about couriers. Those who are ready to risk their lives for another person’s delivery are definitely worthy of respect, and fate has brought you and them together. Their group occupies the Genesis mobile base. They’ve made the local vehicle fleet operational and managed to gather up a convoy of cars to earn a living by delivering goods.
Couriers offer you to work with them and receive a generous reward in return. The organization of delivery is on you. The scheme is simple: collect the goods, pack them, and send a caravan. First, you need to prepare a package and collect the goods required in the order, which you can find on resource- and permanent locations. Season events are also a source of goods for delivery. Pack them in boxes on the workbench at the Genesis base, choose an order and send a caravan with the package on the delivery route, coordinating the convoy via radio.
It’s impossible to lessen the danger expecting them on their way. Guys can get in a situation requiring your quick decision, on which depend both the intactness of the package and the lives of the couriers. But it’s not all dull and tragic! Sometimes, a good choice yields decent dividends, and the harder the delivery, the bigger dividends may come out.
Delivery of goods will be your main source of earning Season Pass points and points of information. By the way, speaking of information.

Your new colleagues certainly have something to do with Genesis, the origins of which you have yet to find out. They ask you to find and bring back three friends of theirs – K, Chris, and Eva. You are going to complete 3 plotlines and find the cause and effect of those people’s vanishing – this is where you will need points of information. They can be obtained by delivering goods, collecting special items in the bunkers, at the Farm, at the Police Station, and in the Motel. During quests, you will have a chance to try yourself as a courier. Find the guy named Jake at the Genesis base; as the plotline goes, he will give you special packages that you will have to personally deliver.

K’s plotline will turn up in the first week of the season, Chris’s one – in the second week, and in the third week, you’ll be searching for Eve. Good luck, they’re counting on you!

The end of the world found everyone at different times and places: some, for example, was caught by it during a musical concert, which is not the worst option for the beginning of an apocalypse by itself. Festival ground will be one of the season events where you will be able to stock up on goods for packages, while music fans will find this place twice as valuable. Here, you can find and take home the rarest artifact from the past – a functioning boombox! Just don’t lose it, there’s no other place to get another one.

Do you think we forgot about Halloween? No way! Throw away your pumpkin latte and go fight evil spirits to the temporary location Spooky Farm. There are spots for performing rituals where you’ll have to summon monsters. Having performed 3 rituals, you will be able to fight one of the three bosses, dropping season items. Get them all!
The delivery of goods is planned to be permanent, however, your feedback will have a decisive impact. Leave your reviews on the mechanics on our social media, a lot depends on them!
That’s it for now. Have a successful season and take care!
